Pink Slipped
Wish me luck, guys. Tonight is the fundraising party (“The Pink Slip Party”) to kick off a 3 week campaign to raise $25,000 to shoot the next five episodes of “My Parents are Crazier than Yours.” I’ve created some cool cocktails, like “Broke and Beachless” and “Stuck in Suburbia.” If you’re in NYC, stop by.
It’s unfortunate that my parents can’t be there to sign autographs. The actors playing my parents will be, though. As well as a bunch of psychiatric ‘nurses’ and a drunk ‘priest’ to listen to your stories of family dysfunction.
Unfortunately my dog can’t make it. He has a speaking engagement. Plus, he can’t find his ID.
This is scary and exciting at the same time. Fingers crossed!

Psychiatric nurses and a drunk priests! This might be the coolest themed party I’ve ever heard of – I’m so sorry to miss it! My fingers are crossed that people are very generous, and realize a superbly promising project when they see one. Have fun, and by that I mean many, many cool cocktails for me!
